She created a minor controversy last year when she told a reporter that she couldn’t finish Snow; she may have even called Pamuk boring. I guess she has come around.
Also, I’d be willing to put one of his novels on The List. (Incidentally, should we publish The List for the sake of accountability and also consistency?)
Honesty moment: It took me months to come back to the last 80 pages of Snow. But I always assumed this had more to do with me than anything else.
